Mac in Education = This group is for anyone working in K-12 or Higher Education.You could be level 1-3 or even a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Team Lead or Management. This group includes anyone who works in a Macintosh Helpdesk role. Mac Support = Someone who supports or fixes Macintosh issues.Mac Admin = This tag is for anyone in who is in Macintosh Architecture, Engineering, System Administration, or MDM Administrators.When the new owner starts up the Mac, they can use their own information to complete setup. If you're selling, trading in, or giving away your Mac, press Command-Q to quit the setup assistant without completing setup, then click Shut Down. Your Mac might restart and show a progress bar several times, and the screen might be empty for minutes at a time.Īfter installation is complete, your Mac might restart to a setup assistant. Allow installation to complete without putting your Mac to sleep or closing its lid.If the installer offers you the choice between installing on Macintosh HD or Macintosh HD - Data, choose Macintosh HD.If the installer doesn't see your disk, or it says that it can't install on your computer or volume, you might need to erase your disk first.If the installer asks to unlock your disk, enter the password that you use to log in to your Mac.Click Continue, then follow the onscreen instructions.When you see a window with the option to reinstall macOS, your Mac has started up from Recovery. ![]()
